OLIVIER LEFLAIVE PINOT NOIR
- Denomination of Origin: Bourgogne (France)
- Is a single-varietal whose grapes are destemmed and fermented with their skins at low temperature for 14 days. This wine ages 12 months in stainless steel tanks, with the exception of 10%, which spends three quarters of this time in French oak barrels. There’s no fining, but it’s filtered.
- Its translucent cherry red color is really seductive, much more than its discreet but elegant nose. In the palate it’s easy, it’s a tightrope walker who walks, without falling, between the edges of acidity, bitterness, a touch of greenery or maybe wood ... There’s a certain unctuousness, there’s some sweetness and, above all, an «I don’t know what» that makes you drink it like water.
